Farm To Table Camp

This grant will continue the “Farm to Table” gardening camp, as part of the VSYMCA’s summer programming. The camp will educate children on the importance of growing a garden, harvesting produce for themselves and others, and being good stewards of the Earth. The one-week camp will utilize two teaching garden beds in the Y’s larger Community Garden, for gardening-related and purpose-filled projects, as well as to engage the entire 100+ children camp. Grant Amount: $3,000.00.
