Whether you’re hosting a meeting, workshop, presentation, or community gathering, The deKoven House Community Center offers two comfortable, affordable meeting spaces in the historic deKoven House. Conveniently located at 27 Washington Street in downtown Middletown with easy access to Route 9 and I-91, our spaces provide the perfect setting for nonprofits, businesses, and community groups.

The Kitchenette
The kitchenette includes:
- Refrigerator, microwave, sink
- one 50-cup percolator coffee pot
- two 30-cup percolator pots
- one 12-cup drip pot for coffee or tea
- minimal assorted kitchen equipment
Restrictions
- NO SMOKING in the deKoven House.
- NO OPEN FLAMES, except sterno-type burners.
- NO ALCOHOL may be served.
- DO NOT USE TAPE or adhesives of any kind on the walls, floors, or other surfaces.
Additional charges may be imposed on those who incur excess custodial services.
Parking at the deKoven House
Parking at the deKoven House is limited—about 18 spaces on evenings/weekends and as few as 5 on weekdays. Handicapped and staff parking spaces (as marked) are reserved during business hours. Do not park on the grass. Any vehicle parked improperly, on the grass, or blocking access will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Additional Parking available at the Melilli Plaza Lot (Corner of Melilli & deKoven)
- Enter from deKoven Drive or Washington Street
- $1.50/ hour from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday – Saturday
- Sundays and Major Holidays Free
- Electric Vehicle charging stations available
- Pay by License Plate at Kiosk (bills, credit cards, Downtown Middletown Gift Card)
