About the Speaker
Yasemin Ugurlu is the founder and owner of Reboot Eco, a zero-waste and refill shop dedicated to making sustainable, non-toxic living accessible through curated products and community programs. With 20 years of experience in community engagement, hospitality, and event planning, she brings both expertise and passion to her work. Yasemin also serves or has served on the boards of RecycleCT, The Rockfall Foundation, the Northeast Organic Farmers Association of Connecticut, and Middletown’s North End Action Team, advancing environmental and social justice initiatives. In 2021, she was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and is a recognized speaker on sustainability, with appearances at Yale University and on WNPR.
