Meet & mingle with cinder + salt‘s owner, Rachel, and see how she’s using plastic from beach clean-ups to create art. Plus, connect with the Rockfall Foundation & learn more about their work in environmental education and conservation in the Lower Connecticut River Valley.

We will be convening at Middle Beach. Parking is free for all CT license plates and all clean-up supplies will be provided. Get a primo parking spot and enjoy the morning on the beach or riding the bike trails (park opens at 8am!). We’ll supply all the gear you need including trash grabbers, buckets & gloves. This event is kid friendly. Registered volunteers will receive a free t-shirt while supplies last.

This event is rain or shine, however if we need to cancel due to heavy rain or inclement weather, we will notify you by email the night before. You may want to bring sunglasses, a jacket, your own work gloves if you have them and a water bottle.
