Connecticut Shell Recovery and Oyster Habitat Restoration

Grant funds will be used to recover and recycle shells from restaurants and seafood businesses to maintain a sustainable supply of shell for oyster habitat restoration in Long Island Sound and preserve shellfish beds and reefs. Collective Oyster Recycling & Restoration is a non-profit organization that facilitates and maintains a statewide sustainable shell recovery and recycling network in Connecticut.
