Meet Your Greens: Giving Tennis Balls and Our Planet a Sustainable Future

September 18, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

In the United States, more than 125 million tennis balls are discarded each year, creating about 20,000 metric tons of rubber waste. Ryan Poulin, President and Co-Founder of Serve2Sustain, will share how his Essex, Connecticut chapter got started, the process of recycling tennis balls, and why this effort matters for both the planet and the sport. He’ll also highlight how Serve2Sustain now operates across the country and internationally, with students leading the charge to make tennis more sustainable—one ball at a time.

Admission is free for all attendees. Registration is preferred, but not required.
