Schoolyard Biodiversity Study
Students in the 7th grade will investigate 3 schoolyard habitats to determine the biodiversity of plants and animals, the impact of human interactions and native v. non-native organisms. Upon completion, they will create a living classroom. Teacher-naturalists from Connecticut Audubon Society’s Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center will support the program. Three-year grant. Grant amount: $6,000
