Rockfall Foundation Grant Supports Environmental Education at the Bushy Hill Nature Center

A Rockfall Foundation grant awarded to the Incarnation Center/Bushy Hill Nature Center provides need-based, full, and partial tuition assistance camperships to youth ages 4-15 who attend the Bushy Hill Day Camp, an environmental education summer camp.

On a recent visit, Rockfall Foundation staff toured the camp’s vast natural settings, which span over 700 acres of forests, wetlands, and a mile-long lake.

The camp offers a variety of activities designed to foster a deep appreciation for nature, such as hiking, tracking, swimming, plant identification, team building activities, and exploring the natural environment.

The Rockfall grant award highlights the Foundation’s dedication to making environmental education accessible to all children in the region, especially those who might not otherwise have such opportunities.
