Farm to Table Camp
Grant funds will support scholarships and materials for the Valley Shore YMCA’s Farm to Table Camp, a hands-on summer program where children learn to grow, harvest, and prepare produce, care for a garden, and become stewards of the earth. The camp, which is now in its seventh year, takes place in the YMCA Community Garden and encourages participants to share their learning with peers while building awareness of food insecurity on the Connecticut Shoreline.
Grant Amount: $3,500.00
