Open Trails: Family Birding Edition at I-Park

In partnership with Allison Guinness of the Mattabeseck Audubon, I-Park will host two Open Trails: Family Birding Edition programs in Spring 2021. These programs, aimed at children ages 8-10 and their families, will allow families to learn about birds & their habitats, engage in related arts & crafts, and explore I-Parks nature trail system, full of site-responsive art installations and moss-lined pathways. This grant will also support the creation of the Birds of I-Park printed brochure, which will be distributed to participating families and other I-Park patrons. Grant amount $2,000
