DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1741103266429{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n\nEsca Restaurant & Wine Bar\n437 Main St\, Middletown\, CT 06457\nYou don’t want to miss this Meet Your Greens event! Jeff Gardner will speak about the offshore renewable energy industry in the US and his company’s involvement in the marine/maritime sector. \nJeff’s company Geo SubSea (Middletown CT) is active on all three US coasts and heavily involved with the Vineyard Wind Project\, the first large-scale offshore wind facility in the United States. Vineyard Wind 1 will generate 800 megawatts of electricity annually and power over 400\,000 homes\, the equivalent of removing 325\,000 vehicles from roadways. \nJeff’s career includes 28 years of offshore surveying around the world followed by the start and continued growth of his own company since 2015 (10 year anniversary this year!). Geo SubSea manages a wide variety of offshore programs for large\, complex engineering development projects and performs many specialized studies that are necessary for permitting and design efforts\, including overall site characterization\, benthic habitat mapping\, geology ground model development\, seabed mobility studies\, cable routing feasibility studies\, and much more. Jeff will provide an overview of many of these topics\, talk about how the industry is impacting the state of Connecticut\, and mix in a few seafaring stories from his travel adventures. \nAdmission: This event is free for Rockfall Foundation members and a $10 donation fee for non-members. \nBecome a Rockfall Member today! 100% of your tax-deductible gift directly benefits Rockfall’s programs and environmental grants\, helping us advance conservation and sustainability in our communities. \nRegister Below\n✅ Rockfall Foundation Members (Free Registration)\n💳 Non-Members ($10 Donation Fee) \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”17585″ img_size=”full” css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row dimension=”flat” corner_style=”pointed” size=”large” letter_spacing=”0″ icon=”” icon_anim=”none” target=”_self” nofollow=”false” align=”center” button_custom_width=”0″ margin_top=”0″ margin_bottom=”15″ margin_right=”15″ outline_skin=”dark” outline_active_color=”” outline_active_text_color=”” outline_hover_bg_color=”” outline_hover_color=”” bg_color=”#01baef” btn_hover_bg=”#01baef” text_color=”light” btn_hover_txt_color=”#ffffff”][vc_column width=”1/2″][mk_button dimension=”flat” corner_style=”rounded” size=”large” url=”https://www.eventbrite.com/e/myg-offshore-wind-marine-innovation-with-jeff-gardner-of-geo-subsea-tickets-1268963727669″ target=”_blank” bg_color=”#01baef” btn_hover_bg=”#01baef” btn_hover_txt_color=”#ffffff”]👉 REGISTER HERE[/mk_button][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
