DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1524003564614{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]During Screen-Free Week\, Russell Library\, Middletown Public Schools\, HealingNatureCT\, and the Rockfall Foundation will be hosting a series of events\, including storytimes and an art program at the library\, a hike at the Guida Farm Conservation Area\, and a special presentation for families on social emotional learning by Scarlett Lewis\, founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement. \nStorytimes are: \n\nMonday 4/30 10:30-11:30 AM – Wonderful Ones\nTuesday 5/1 10:30-11:30AM – Twos are Terrific\nThursday 5/3 10:30-11:30AM – Baby Rhyme Time\nThursday 5/5 1:30-2:30PM – PreSchool Power\n\nPlus\, Friday 5/4 at 4:30-5:30PM there will be an Art Party\, where children can use their imagination to create something beautiful (ages 5-9). \nOn Monday 4/30 at 6:30PM: Middletown School Readiness presents at Wilbert Snow Elementary School: “Choose Love at Home.” Parents are invited to listen to Scarlett Lewis\, founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement\, to learn about their new social emotional learning program for families. Children are also welcome and Screen-Free activities will be provided for them. This event is open to Middletown preschool and elementary school staff\, parents and children. Seating for adults and chaperones for children are limited so this is a first come\, first serve event. Vellotti of East Coast Kelp Farms and Ram Island Oysters about their exciting effort to grow kelp sustainably in the Long Island Sound and transform it into delicious and innovative foods.
